An orientation program for the girl students of B.Tech. III Year was conducted by the respective
departmental Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) Coordinators from 30/07/2026 to 06/08/2026. The
students were informed about the objectives and functions of the ICC, the procedure for filing complaints,
and the importance of confidentiality and fair inquiry in addressing grievances. They were also encouraged
to participate in workshops, seminars, and conferences on women empowerment, gender sensitization, and
personality development to enhance their awareness, confidence, and leadership skills.

The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) organized a Pipe Cleaner Craft Workshop for III Year
and Final Year CIC girl students on 10/07/2026 at 2:00 PM in Room No. 105. The workshop was
conducted by Ms. Perumalla Prasanna Siri, our 20KT alumnus, currently working at SASTRAVA
as the resource person. The entire event was coordinated by Ms. Ch. Bala Vijaya
Durga, Associate Professor. Ms. Prasanna Siri demonstrated creative pipe cleaner craft techniques
and provided hands-on training, enabling students to design their own craft models. Students and
faculty actively participated in the workshop, making the session interactive and engaging while
enhancing creativity, artistic skills, confidence, and teamwork through craft-making.
Event 2025-26

The Internal Complaints Committee, in association with the Department of CSE, organized a one-day
workshop on “Healthy Heart - Happy Life” for the II B.Tech. students on 28/03/2026 at Room No. 105 from
2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The session was delivered by Dr. S. V. Karthik, Cardiologist at Kartik Heart Centre, in
association with Dr. Reddy's Forum for Health Education. He highlighted the key aspects of heart health,
precautions, and preventive measures. A CPR demonstration was also conducted, in which students actively
participated and practiced the procedure. The program was held in the presence of the college management
and the Principal, with students gaining valuable awareness on maintaining a healthy heart. The session was
highly interactive, encouraging students to ask questions and clarify their doubts. Overall, the workshop was
informative and helped students understand the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle to prevent cardiac
diseases.
- The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) organized an awareness session titled "Recent Advancements in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontic Treatment" for
the girl students of II CSE, CSE (IoT & CS Incl BCT), CSE (IoT), and CSO on 24/03/2026 at 2:00 PM in the Sakunthala Devi Lab. The session was delivered by Dr. Nishitha Grandhi, MDS, a Conservative Dentist and Endodontist,
who explained modern techniques in dental care with a focus on preventive measures. Around 70 girl students attended the program interactive,
with students actively clarifying their doubts related to oral health and dental hygiene. The program helped create awareness about maintaining good dental health and recent advancements in dentistry.
- The Internal Complaints Committee organized an awareness session titled “Santoor Royal Sandal
Campus Connect” for I B.Tech. girl students of CSM, CSE-A, CSE-D, and CSD on 17/03/2026 at 12:00
PM in the Seminar Hall, Alapati Block. The session was conducted by a dermatologist, who explained the
advantages of the newly launched Royal Sandal product and its benefits for skincare, in the presence of
representatives from Santoor. Female faculty members also attended the program. The session was
interactive, with students responding to questions related to sandal soaps and the talk. Santoor Royal
Sandal gift hampers were distributed to 15 students. The program helped create awareness about skincare
and personal hygiene.
- Women’s Day Celebrations were organized on 09 March 2026 at PSCMR College of
Engineering & Technology, with active participation from 1500 students and 155 staff members.
Various events such as Speak Your Spark, Spotlight Fiesta, Crown of Confidence, Beat & Seat,
Balloon Games, Bottle Games, Her Story, and a Women Entrepreneurship Expo were conducted
to promote confidence, creativity, and empowerment among women. The event was graced by
Chief Guest Ms. Reshma Karumanchi, Crown of Vijayawada. Guests of Honor Dr. Mamatha
Rayapati, Deputy Managing Director, Ramesh Hospitals, and Ms. Chitta Vijaya Sree,
Nutritionist, shared valuable insights with the participants. The Management extended their
support for the successful conduct of the celebrations. Principal Dr. S. Saravana Kumar also
graced the occasion and encouraged the participants. The program concluded successfully with
enthusiastic participation from students and faculty.
- The Internal Complaints Committee organized an awareness session on
“Menstrual Problems and HPV Vaccine” in the Seminar Hall at 3:00 PM on 10/02/2026. The session was conducted by Dr. Lakshmi Sirisha Sakhamuri, MBBS, DNB, DGO, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist,
Nagarjuna Hospital, Kanuru, Vijayawada, who explained common menstrual issues and highlighted the importance of HPV vaccination for women’s health. All the girl students of I CSE–A, B, C, D, CIC,
and AI&DS attended the program, which was informative and interactive, with students actively participating and clarifying their doubts.
- The Internal Complaints Committee organized an awareness talk on the POSH Act in the main Seminar
Hall on 23/12/2025 at 3:30 PM. The session was conducted by Ms. Anupama Darla, High Court
Advocate, who explained the key aspects of the Act. Nearly 115 B.Tech girl students participated in the
programme. The event began with opening remarks by ICC Convener Dr. A. Rama Devi, who also
introduced the resource person. All the ICC Coordinators were present during the session. Principal Dr. S.
Saravana Kumar graced the occasion and felicitated the resource person.
- The Internal Complaints Committee organized a talk on the occasion of Sthree Shakti Diwas (Jhansi
Lakshmi Bai Jayanthi) in the Seminar Hall on 21/11/2025 at 11:30am. The topic of the session was “Bharatiya Naari Shakthi,” delivered by Prof. Saraswati Raju Iyer from the Department of Sociology and
Social Work at Acharya Nagarjuna University. Around 125 girl students from I AI&DS, ECE-A, ECE-B, CSO, and CSE-C attended the programme. ICC Convener Dr. A. Rama Devi gave the opening remarks
and introduced the resource person. The event was supported by ABVP General Secretary Mr. Y. Murali, I CSO, ABVP Vijayawada. The session highlighted the strength and contribution of Indian women,
drawing inspiration from the life of Jhansi Lakshmi Bai.
- An orientation program for the girl students of I B.Tech. was conducted by the ICC Convener Dr. A.
Rama Devi, along with Dr. A. Bindu Madhavi, Psychologist Ms. D. Kalyani, and other I-Year women
faculty. The session highlighted the objectives and importance of the Internal Complaints Committee
(ICC) in promoting a safe and respectful campus environment. The Convener and the psychologist
explained the functions and responsibilities of the ICC in addressing gender sensitivity and workplace
conduct. Students were briefed on the types of issues that can be reported to the committee. They were
also informed about the procedure for filing complaints in cases of harassment or grievances. The session
concluded by assuring students of complete confidentiality and encouraging them to approach the ICC
without hesitation.
- An orientation program for the girl students from B.Tech. 2nd year to 4th year, as well as MBA and
MCA students, was conducted by the respective departmental ICC Coordinators from 06/11/2025 to
10/11/2025. During the sessions, students were informed about the objectives and significance of the
Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) in ensuring a safe and respectful campus environment. The
coordinators explained the functions and responsibilities of the ICC in addressing issues related to gender
sensitivity and workplace conduct. Students were also guided on the procedure to file a complaint in case
of any harassment or grievance, ensuring confidentiality and fair inquiry.
- On behalf of ICC, the Department of CSE organized a one-hour interactive session
on gynecological health for female faculty and students. Dr. Sree Ramya Kantipudi, MS, a renowned Gynecologist and Obstetrician from VISE Hospital, Vijayawada, was the resource person.
The session covered healthy lifestyle practices, prevention of gynecological disorders, and remedial actions. Around 60 members attended the interactive session held on 15/10/2025, at 3:00 pm in Room No. 204.
The session provided a valuable opportunity for participants to engage with the expert. Dr. Kantipudi's interactive approach made the session highly informative.
- Fifty female faculty members from PSCMR College of Engineering & Technology, including teaching and non-teaching staff,
participated in the Gemini TV program "Bhamalu-Satyabhamalu" at KBN College Seminar Hall on September 19, 2025 which would be telecast on the Gemini TV on the day of Dasara.
The event was held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, anchored by Mr. Bhargav and Ms. Dharani Priya. The participants showcased their enthusiasm in three exciting rounds of games.
Gift vouchers were awarded to the participants, adding to the excitement.
The faculty members demonstrated their team spirit and engagement throughout the program. This event highlighted the active participation of PSCMR College female faculty members.
- As a part of World Breastfeeding Week, Lions Club of Vijayawada Mid Town organized
a seminar on "Breast and Importance of Breast Milk" at PSCMR College of Engineering & Technology on August 6, 2025.
The Chief Guest Ln. Damarla Sri Santhi emphasized the benefits of breastfeeding for a child's health and immunity, stressing that mother's milk is like nectar, providing complete nutrition and
strengthening resistance against diseases. Dr. Kola Vijay Sekhar noted that breast milk is the only natural source of iodine for newborns, preventing risks like infant mortality and mental retardation.
The event was attended by the Lions Club members, female staff and around 200 girl students.
Events 2024-25
- A three day defense workshop, "Building Confidence and Enhancing Personal Safety," was
conducted for female MBA, MCA, and EEE students from March 24-26, 2025. Organized by ICC,
in association with the Departments of MBA, MCA, and EEE, the workshop aimed to empower
students with self-defense skills and confidence. Renowned experts Mr. M Ankama Rao,
Taekwondo District Secretary, and Mr. P Aditya, National Referee, led the sessions, benefiting
around 60 participants
- The International Women's Day MARATHON 2025 was organized on 08-03-2025 from PSCMR CET to KR Market
1 Twon at 7:15am Dr. Akkineni Mani, Managing Director of Akkineni Women's Hospitas, Vijayawada was the chief Guest and Mrs. Chitta Vijaya Sree
, Nutritionist and Dietieian was the Guest of Honor. President Sri Chalavadi Mallikarjuna Rao, Vice President Sri Potti Surendra, Secretary & Correspondent Dr. CA Chitta Amar Sudheer, Treasurer Incharge Sri Grandhi Sandeep
and Principal Dr. S Saravana Kumar, along with H.o.Ds, participated in the Marathon. Approximately 2600 students and 250 facuty members took part in the Marathon
- To Celebrate International Women's Day, SKPVV Institutions hosted an Antyakshari event for
female staff members on March 5, 2025, at KBN College. Three teams from our college
participated, with Dr. A Bindu Madhavi's team securing the third place. H.o.D of MBA Department,
Dr S Manikanta was one of the anchors of the program. The team's achievement was congratulated
by the Secretary & Correspondent, Dr. CA Chitta Amar Sudheer and Principal, Dr. S Saravana Kumar
- Girl students of I CSE gathered in room no:310 at 3:30 PM
on 25-02-2025 for an orientaion on ICC and Women 's day Celebrations. Dr. D Durga Prasa, HoD explained the upcoming Marathon Walk on March 8th. Dr. N Neelima Priyanka an Ms. V Neelima
Professors from Department of CSE guided the girls on reporting campus harassment, assuring prompt resolution while maintaining confidentiality. Dr. A Rama Devi, ICC Convener, urged
the students to empower themselves, fostering courage and strength to become the pillars of the society
- A Seminor on "Our Heritage Inspiration - The Visionary Queen Ahilyabai" was organized for all the girl students of CSM, CAI, CIC and CSO. The seminar was delevered by Dr. V. N. Manga Devi. HoD, Department of Telugu at Maris Stella College on 19-12-2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the main seminar hall. Around 130 students participated in the seminar
- A session on " WOMEN EMPOWERMENT " was conducted on 28-11-2024 by Mrs.Padala Rama Devi, Senior Psychologist, Indian Red cross society, NTR District for the students of I Year and II Year MCA around 180 students attended
- A session on " Nourish your Body - Empower your Mind " , specifically designed for the students of I B.Tech. (CSE-C, CSE-D, ECE-B) was conducted on 22-11-2024 in Room no.: 310 at 3:30 pm by Mrs Chitta Vijayasree M.Sc Nutrition and Dietetics Lucknow University. Around 130 students participated in the program
- A session on "Empowering Adolescent Girls: Managing Mensuration, Lifestyle Disorders and Mental Well-being " specifically designed for the girl students of I B.Tech. was conducted on 29-10-2024 in our main seminar hall at 3:30 pm by Dr. Varsha Patil Gynecologist, JJ Group of Hospitals, Mumbai and president South Central Railway WWO Vijayawada Division. Around 110 students participated in the program.
- An awareness Program on Cervical Cancer and Breast Cancer was conducted for the girl students of II & III B.Tech ECE on 24/09/2024 at 2:00pm in Room No. 310 for which the resource persons were Dr. Pavani Manikya, Consultant Obstetrician, and Dr. Satish Chaitanya. K, Consultant Breast and Endocrine Surgeon from Anu My Baby Hospital, Enikepadu. This event was conducted by the Department of ECE. Around 140 students participated in the program
- On August 17,2024 the Internal Compliance Committee (ICC) organized a protest rally and condolence gathering for Monitha Debnath, also known as Kolkata case. Approximately 35 girl students from I CSE- A and CSM accompanied by yoga instructor Ms. U Sailaja, participated in the event which took place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The rally covered the surrounding streets and main road of the college, drawing the attention to the cause.
- A session on "Balancing Social Life with Studies" was conducted for the girl students of B.Tech. CSE branch for which was Dr.B.Aruna Psychologist, Pooja Psychiatry Center, Vijayawada was invited as the recourse person. This product was conducted on 17-08-2024 at 3:00pm in the main seminar hall. Around 200 girl students along female faculty participated in the program.
- A session on "POST OFFICE SAVINGS SCHEMES" by Sri Ravuri Phani Prasad, Sr. Post Master , Head Post Office, Vijayawada was conducted for all the female staff in room no.:310 on 13-08-2024 at 4:00pm. Around 80 members participated in the program.
- A Session on "Self care focusing on Mental health" by Ms. Akula Chandini Chandana, Vice-Chairman, Confederation of Indian Industry Women Network, A.P, Ms. Sudeepthi Vardhan, Vasavya Physiotherapy Center, Women Health TT, Ankura Hospitals, Lactation Consultant was conducted for the girl students of I, II and III B.Tech. CSE-Data Science on 12-08-2024 in Room no-105 at 3:30 pm. Around 60 students participated in the seminar.
- An Orientation Program regarding the conduct of seminars, workshops, events etc was conducted for all the female staff on 30/07/2024 in our main seminar hall at 4:00pm. All the female helping
staff also were given suggestions regarding the maintenance of washrooms, rest room etc to facilitate a pleasant and hassle-free campus experience for the girl students and women employees. Around 80 members participated in the program
- A yoga training session titled “Yoga for Women Empowerment” was organized by ICC in association with the PSCMR NSS Unit on 21/06/2024 at 2:00pm for which Ms. B Sirisha,
International Yoga Trainer and Yoga Therapist was invited as the resource person. This program was conducted in the main seminar hall from 2:00pm onwards in which around 50 members participated.
Events 2023-24
- An awareness Program on “Indian Securities Market” was organized by the Department of MBA for the girl students of MCA and B.Tech. on 26/03/2024 at 3:00pm for which the speaker was
Dr. S Srinivas Rao, SEBI Trainer on Financial Education. Around 50 students participated in the program
- Orientation Program regarding ICC was conducted for all the teaching and non-teaching female staff on 12/03/2024. Dr. A Rama Devi, Convener, ICC addressed the audience on the importance of
conducting workshops/seminars/conferences for women empowerment.
- Women's Day was celebrated on 07/03/2024 for which Dr.ManjuBhargavi Mederametla, Consultant Physician & Diabetologist, Managing Director: Dr Bhargavi's Diabetes Center, Ayurville NatureHub(Integrated Holistic Multispeciality Hospital), Core Fitness Yoga and Zumba studio was the Chief Guest. Ramp Walk, Dance Competition and some spot events were conducted and prizes for all the competitions were distributed by the chief guest. The chief guest was felicitated by the ICC members of the college.
- On the occasion of Women's Day Celebrations on 07/03/2024, various competitions were conducted for students from 04/03/2024 to 06/03/2024 in which a good number of girl students
participated actively and won prizes. Competitions like Instant Cooking, Hair styling, Poster
Presentation, Blind Art, Mehindi, Musical Chairs, etc were conducted to bring out the dormant
potentialities of the girl students.
- A seminar on “Menstrual Awareness” was conducted for all the girl students of II B.Tech by Dr. Pavani Manikya Palepu, MS OBG(PGIMER); Obstetrician-Gynecologist; Cosmetic &
Urogynecologist (ICCG), Anu Hospitals, Enikepadu on 25/01/2024 from 3:30 pm in the main seminar hall. Around 130 students attended the seminar.
- Personnel from Pro-ease, as a part of promoting their product, distributed sanitary pads for all the girl students of I B.Tech and all the female employees of the college on 05/01/2024. Around 300 girl students attended the promotion program in Room No. 310
- A seminar on “Menstrual Awareness” was conducted for all the girl students of I B.Tech by Dr. Pavani Manikya Palepu, MS OBG(PGIMER); Obstetrician-Gynecologist; Cosmetic & Urogynecologist (ICCG), Anu Hospitals, Enikepadu on 15/12/2023 from 3:30 pm in the main seminar hall. Around 300 students attended the seminar.
- An awareness program on “Breast Cancer” by Dr. Srujana Joga, Consultant-Medical Oncology,AOI, Mangalagiri, Vijayawada was organized for all the girl students of MBA and B.Tech. EEE on 18/10/2023 in
association with the department of MBA. The seminar was arranged in room no 317 at 11:00am for which
around 70 students attended.
- Orientation about the functions, objectives and activities of ICC were explained in detail by the Convener of ICC, Dr. A Rama Devi. Besides these, the dress code to be maintained by the
girl students and the process of complaining in case of any issues pertaining to sexual
harassment were detailed from 10/10/2023 to 14/10/2023.
- A Seminar on "Sexual Harassment at workplaces" [30-09-2023] conducted by ECE Department.
- Orientation Program was conducted for all the female teaching faculty members on 14/09/2023
in Room No. 113 at 4:10pm by the Convener Dr. A Rama Devi. All the faculty were informed to
maintain proper dress code. The coordinators were informed to conduct their ICC activities as
per the Year Planner.
- On the occasion of International Self Care Day, a seminar titled, “Well-being Nutrition in
Adolescence” was conducted for the girl students of MBA and EEE on 24/07/2023 for which the
speaker was Ms. Sushma Gumma, Holistic Nutritionist. Ms. Anisa Begum, Fashion Designer
also was invited as another speaker. This event was organized by the departments of MBA and
EEE.
- On the occasion of International Self Care Day, a seminar titled, “Well-being Nutrition in
Adolescence” was conducted for the girl students of MBA and EEE on 24/07/2023 for which the
speaker was Ms. Sushma Gumma, Holistic Nutritionist. Ms. Anisa Begum, Fashion Designer
also was invited as another speaker. This event was organized by the departments of MBA and
EEE.
Events 2022-23
- Women’s Day Celebrations Women’s Day Celebrations were conducted on 7th March 2023 for which Dr. Sailaja Shyamala Rao, Station Director, All India Radio, Vijayawada was invited as the Chief Guest On 7/3/2023
- A Guest Lecture titled “Let’s Fight Cancer” was conducted for II, III and IV B.Tech ECE girl students on 16/02/2023 at 2:00 pm in our main seminar hall by Dr. Nadella Aditya, Consultant Oncologist, Gemcare, Kamineni Hospitals, Vijayawada.
- Awareness Programs on Voluntary Blood Donation and Anemia were conducted on 14-02-2023 for the girl students of II and III B.Tech CSE by Dr.Jasmine Sultana, MBBS and MD Transfusion medicine, Dr. Kalyan Chakravarty -Professor of Pathology, Central Lab Director and Co-ordinator of Medical Education Unit, Pinnameni Sidhartha Institute of Medical Sciences. Around 150 students participated in the session.
- An Online awareness programme on Cyber Security titled “COUNTERING CYBER ATTACKS & CYBER FRAUDS ON WOMEN” by the Directorate of Empowerment of Women &
Grievance, JNTUK was organized on 04.02.2023 from 11:00am onwards for the girl students of II CSE and its allied branches for which around 70 students attended.
- A seminar titled “Behavior and Life Skills for girl students” was conducted on 24/09/2022 for the girl students of II CSE-IoT&CSIncl.BCT& AI&ML for which the speaker was Ms.M.Nikhita,
Assisstant Professor, CSE. Around 50 girl students participated in the seminar.
- An awareness program on Suicide Prevention was conducted for all the girl students of II & IVcB.Tech ECE on 16/09/2022 for which Dr. Thejavathi U C, Clinical Assistant and Counselor, Nephrology Department, Sun Rise Hospitals, Vijayawada was invited as the speaker.
- An Art Exhibition cum sale was organized by the Inner Wheel Club District 302 in association with ICC on 08/09/2022.
- Female staff participated in Kolatam performance on Ganesh Nimajjanam on 03/09/2022 for
which encouragement gifts were given by our Secretary and Correspondent, Sri P. Lakshmana
Swamy garu on 6/9/2022.
- Students of PSCMR participated in a 2K walk in Vijayawada from VMC stadium to Sidhartha
Academy Auditorium, Moghalrajpuram on 15/07/2022 at 7:00am organized by SAFE (Step
Ahead for Equality), a non-political organization for Women’s Equality and Women’s Rights.

- Health Awareness Session by Dr. Achyutha Babu Kamineni, Andhra Hospitals,Vijayawada on
03/06/2022
- A Demonstration on DEEMARK Magnetic Belly Tummy Belt was given on 17/05/2022 by Mr.
T.Prasad, representative from DEEMARK for which around 25 female faculty members
attended. Faculty members were enlightened with the advantages of wearing the belt.
- A seminar titled “Cyber Security and Digital Rights for Women” was conducted for the students
of II CSE (IOT) on 16/03/2022 in Sakuntala Devi Lab for which Mr. Bhargav Yandarthi,
Sr.Project Manager, Ignis Careers Private Ltd., Hyd. and Ms. Narmada Samala, Teacher Trainer,
Ignis Careers Private Ltd were invited as the resource persons. Around 30 students attended the
seminar.
- Women's Day Celebrations were conducted on 8th March 2022 under the sponsorship of AICTE
(SPICES) for which Mrs. Jayanthi Vallrupalli, A.P. State Best Lecturer Awardee, Degree
College Principal (Retd.) was invited as the Chief Guest.
- Event held: 04.02.2022: AIDWA, in association with our college, protested the 14 year old girl?s suicide of
Vidhyadharipuram in Vijayawada on 31/01/2022. All the girls and boys formed a human chain
to express their protest against the girls death. The members of AIDWA created awareness
among boys and girls about the injustice done to the girl by Mr. Vinod Jain.
- A seminar on "Intellectual Property Rights" was organized in association with the Inner Wheel
Club, Mid Town,Vijayawada for all B.Tech. girl students of ECE on 10/01/2022 at 11:00 am in
the main seminar hall for which Mrs. Anuradha Maganti, Advocate, High Court was invited to
be the speaker. Around 150 students participated in the seminar.
- A seminar titled "An Ayurvedic Perspective in the Management of Lifestyle Disorders and its Consequences confronted by Female Youth" was conducted for all the girl students of I B.Tech and I Diploma by Dr. Y.Ratna Priya Darsini, M.D. (AY), (Ph.D), Assistant Professor, Dept. of Kayachikitsa, Dr. N.R.S. Ayurvedic College, Vijayawada on 04/02/2022 for which around 220 students attended along with female faculty members.
- A talk on "I B.Tech Girls Students Orientation Program held on 29th January 2022.
- A talk on "An awareness programme on "Breast Cancer" by Mrs. Shaik Asha Begum, M.Pharm, (Ph.D.), Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy Practice, Nirmala College of Pharmacy, Atmakur, Mangalagiri was organized for girl students and female faculty on 30/11/2021

- Womens Day was celebrated on 8th March 2021 in the college for which Ms. Manisha Bhati, Motivational Speaker, Co-founder, Dreamhunt, India was invited as the chief guest.

- International Women's Day was celebrated on 07-03-2020 for which Sri G. Rashmi,Secretary, Vasavya Mahila Mandali, Vijayawada was the Chief guest.Various competetions like Ramp Walk, hair Styling, Greeting card making, Nail Art,Mehendi, Vegetable and Fruit carving, Blind make-up etc. were conducted in which around 750 students participated along with all the female faculty members
- A seminar on the eve of National Science Day was conducted for I B.Tech. students in the main seminar hall on 27/02/2020 at 3:30pm for which the speakers were Dr. Desham Chelimela, Senior Resident, Department of Community and Family Medicine and Dr. T.Sree Kumar, Dean of Science, Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada.
- PSCMR students participated in the Mahila Fest-Taruni Tarangalu from 06-02-2020 to 07-02-2020 at Siddhartha Academy, Vijayawada.
- “PCOS Awareness Program” by Dr. K.Latha, Consultant Gynecologist, Lata Hospital, Secretary, VOGS was conducted for B.Tech CSE Girl students on 20 Dec 2019 at 03:30 PM in our Main Seminar Hall.
- An Awareness Program on “Cyber Crimes and Women Protection” by Sri K. Sudhakar, Assistant Commissioner of Police, West Division, Vijayawada City was conducted for I B.Tech Girl students on 10 Dec 2019 at 11:00 AM in our Main Seminar Hall.
- Our 30 Cyber Mitra students participated in the event titled, “Women Safety in Cyber Space” at SS Convention Hall, vijayawada on 03 Dec 2019 at 01:30 PM. This event was organised by Andhra Pradesh Police Department in association with the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
- In association with the Inner Wheel Club-Vijayawada MidTown , a program on Breast Cancer Awareness and Cancer Awareness in general was organised for the students of MBA by Dr. Kesava Ramgopal, MD(NIMS), ECMO, Radiation Oncologist, Ameircan Oncology Institute,Guntur on 18/10/2019
- In association with AIDWA , A Motivational Seminar for I B.Tech. Students was conducted on 30/8/2019 for which the speakers were Mrs. D.Rama Devi, A.P, AIDWA Secretary and Sri D.Kasi Viswanath, C.I., I Town, Vijayawada.
- A Seminar on “ ORPHAN FREE INDIA & GIRLS' RIGHTS BEORE AND ATER MARRIAGE ” was organized in association with the Inner Wheel Club, Mid Town, Vijayawada on 2/08/2019 for which Mrs. Anuradha Maganti , High Court Advocate was the speaker. Poster Designing Competition and Slogan Competition on the concept of Orphan Free India were conducted.
- A seminar on “Women Empowerment” by Mrs. B.Rajya Lakshmi , Enterprise Software Architect, New Jersey, USA on 30-07-19 for CSE Students
Events 2019-20
- Our students volunteered for a program titled “Ladies Day Out” organized by Women Grievances Cell(WGC) on 28/06/2019 at A+Convention
- A session on Awareness of Health & Hygiene by the HRs from Sofy Company to enlighten the ECE girl students of the healthy habits during menstrual cycle was conducted on 27/06/2019
- International Women's Day was celebrated on 8/03/2019 for which Smt. Chigurupati Vimala, Social Activist, Founder, Sudheekshana Foundation, Vijayawada was invited as the Chief Guest. Several Competitions like Rangoli, Flower Decoration, Cooking, Art Film Heroines, Poster Presentation etc were conducted.
- A seminar on Health & Hygiene was conducted in association with the Inner Wheel Club, District:302
for all the girl students on 26/02/2019 for which the resource persons were Dr.A. Sasi Bala
and Dr. G.Sushma
- A seminar on Health Care Management by Pharma-D students of Vijaya Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences for Women was conducted for our girls students on 5 Dec. 2018 with the objective of creating awareness on the measures to be taken to manage health properly.
- A two week Workshop on Novel Painting Methods for I. B. Tech girls was conducted from 6/9/18-20/9/18 by Pidilite Industries, Vijayawada with the objectives of developing creativity and imagination through a range of painting activities and fostering an enjoyment and appreciation of the visual arts and crafts
- With the objective of developing strong leadership qualities and creating awareness on the numerous opportunities available and to train them accordingly, a seminar on Career Guidance & Women Empowerment by Mrs. Rekha Rao, Motivational Speaker, Member, Hyderabad Management Association was organized for the girl students of CSE on 4 July 2018 under PWAC
