Functions of the College Development Council (CDC): Development Planning: Prepare long-term and short-term development plans for affiliated colleges. Help colleges identify priority areas for development. Project Scrutiny and Recommendations: Evaluate and recommend college proposals to AICTE, DST, ICSSR and other funding bodies. Monitor the proper utilization of grants. Inspection and Monitoring: Visit and inspect colleges to assess academic performance and development progress. Provide guidance for improvement based on observations. Promotion of Research and Innovation: Encourage faculty and students to undertake research projects. Facilitate the setting up of research and innovation cells in colleges. Faculty Development: Organize workshops, seminars, and training programs to enhance faculty competence.
